du Plooy's Jungle Lodge

Du Plooy's Jungle Lodge is truly one of the best examples of Eco-Tourism. Even their generator runs on recycled cooking oil to charge their batteries and run the resort!

With 21 rooms ranging from a 7 room building with hand made stone showers, a newly constructed two story cabana with a king bed on each floor, to individual cabanas overlooking the Macal river and valley. This is one of the most eco-conscious resorts you will come across. Everyone at this resort treats the guest like family and they enjoy the same response back.

Also included is an owners residence with a 3 bedroom house upstairs, and a 1 bedroom apartment downstairs.

There is a 40 acre botanical garden next door that will remain the property of the present owners but will be enjoyed by the guests of the resort.
